Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service support or data entry role related to medical billing, credentialing, or the healthcare insurance sector. Experience in provider enrollment is advantageous.
- Prior experience handling Medicaid-related inquiries is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite or remotely in Tallahassee, FL.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential.
- At least two (2) years of experience with Medicaid provider functions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of familiarity with Medicaid or Medicare guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process a high volume of Medicaid provider enrollment applications.
- Evaluate provider requirements, clarify information, and offer effective solutions or alternatives.
- Handle a substantial amount of incoming and outgoing calls related to Medicaid provider enrollment questions as needed.
- Record all provider enrollment inquiries in the call center and/or provider enrollment database.
- Ensure that the enrollment process complies with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Fulfill all necessary tasks to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service benchmarks.
- Be available during client business hours, accommodating any time zone differences to ensure continuous support and service delivery.
- Complete special assignments and additional tasks as required.
- Strive to meet or exceed all outlined role and performance expectations.
