Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Salesforce deployment roles
- Proficient in Git for version control
- Experience conducting peer reviews within development or release workflows
- Ability to identify and resolve deployment and metadata issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to work collaboratively across different teams
- Preferred: Familiarity with Flosum (deployments, pipelines, org comparisons)
- Preferred: Exposure to code quality tools (PMD, ESLint, SonarQube)
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Salesforce metadata (Apex, LWC, Flows, Custom Objects, Permission Sets)
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute Salesforce deployments across various environments such as development, QA, UAT, staging, and production
- Maintain and support Git-based version control, encompassing branching and merging
- Conduct peer reviews of Salesforce metadata alterations and pull requests to uphold quality standards
- Validate Apex tests, ensuring adequate code coverage and deployment readiness
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, metadata conflicts, and discrepancies across environments
- Support sandbox refreshes, environment alignment, and preparation of data
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, QA, and release teams to coordinate and strategize deployments
- Document deployment protocols, release procedures, and environment configurations
- Ensure release activities adhere to internal controls and audit criteria
- Contribute to the enhancement of deployment processes and release management practices
Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our Salesforce release and deployment processes across diverse environments. This ongoing role in our FI Technology team will be extended based on strong performance. Candidates will benefit from a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence every other week.
