Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in NodeJS development, with a focus on backend programming
- 3 to 5 years of professional IT development, programming, or coding experience
- Proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language, specifically React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and HTML
- Familiarity with MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools
- Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities
- Capable of being a flexible team player with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in unit testing, release protocols, coding design, and documentation practices
- Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle
- Knowledge of database management, particularly MongoDB, is a plus
- Familiarity with modern web/UI development tools such as Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, and Jest
- Experience in client-side templating frameworks such as mustache.js and handlebars.js
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
- Solid understanding of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
- High level of critical thinking skills for solution evaluation
- Experience with responsive grid systems
- Knowledge of React and Redux principles and implementation
Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and implement IT solutions utilizing ReactJS, Redux, D3, and NodeJS for Florida Blue Customer Experience applications
- Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering and analysis
- Document detailed system specifications and participate in performance testing and maintenance activities
- Take part in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test, and debug applications
- Interact with third-party partners to facilitate business and technology initiatives
- Incorporate IT controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data
- Respond to outages and create application system models as needed
