Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, particularly in building and maintaining backend services
- Proficient in Python programming and development of cloud-native applications
- Familiarity with API design and implementation
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and paradigms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ability to collaborate with diverse engineering and architecture teams

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain backend services and APIs
- Create cloud-native applications primarily using Python
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary engineering and architecture teams
- Implement software engineering best practices and patterns
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to manage and implement infrastructure
- Participate in architectural decision-making and uphold technical standards
- Foster a DevOps-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement
Description
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to become part of our dynamic engineering team dedicated to developing innovative, cloud-native platforms. This position entails being key to a newly established team tasked with the design and delivery of scalable backend services through the application of state-of-the-art software engineering and cloud methodologies. Our ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on engagement with Python, APIs, cloud systems, and emerging technologies, and thrives in fast-paced, transformational settings. This is a hybrid role based in New Hampshire, requiring two weeks onsite followed by two weeks remote.
