Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, or Engineering Operations
- Proven success in leading large, cross-organizational programs within hardware, software, or systems-focused environments
- Solid understanding of product management principles, development life cycles, and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to navigate effectively in uncertain, rapidly changing situations
- Experience in delivering robotics, autonomous systems, or intricate hardware-software platforms (preferred)
- Familiarity with robot maintenance, fleet operations, or field support frameworks (preferred)
- Background in collaborating with research-oriented teams and scaling initial innovations into production systems (preferred)
- Previous experience in people management or team leadership roles (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and steer multifaceted, multi-year technical programs involving hardware, software, systems, and research teams across diverse organizations
- Lead launches of new products and services, ensuring synchronization among product, engineering, operations, quality, legal, and supply chain partners
- Establish a clear program framework, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics to facilitate predictable execution at scale
- Develop and operationalize processes, systems, and governance structures that support extensive product development, validation, and launch
- Implement repeatable methodologies to minimize operational costs, enhance throughput, and boost quality across projects and services
- Identify structural deficiencies and proactively refine operating models as programs increase in size, complexity, and partner involvement
- Drive comprehensive technical solution alignment, assuring architectural consistency across internal platforms and external partner systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to establish integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and engagement processes with technical partners
- Convert high-level product and research goals into actionable technical and operational plans
- Oversee productivity, quality, and operational health metrics, including executive reporting and business reviews
- Utilize data to highlight risks, trade-offs, and opportunities, enabling informed decision-making by senior leadership
- Create mechanisms to continuously enhance quality, reliability, and delivery velocity
- Influence and align senior stakeholders across product, engineering, research, and operations without direct authority
- Serve as a people leader and task manager, ensuring disciplined planning, prioritization, execution, and accountability among teams
- Mentor program managers and contribute to advancing program management best practices within the organization
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical, operational, and delivery risks across programs
- Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base and training platform to support operational readiness, onboarding, and global execution
- Ensure programs meet readiness standards for launch, scalability, and long-term support
- Collaborate with research groups to transition early-stage innovations into scalable product and operational processes
- Support the growth of new businesses and partner ecosystems, enabling engagement with a diverse range of external partners
- Ensure alignment between exploratory research and production-grade product requirements
