Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of functional testing principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Solid experience in developing test plans, strategies, and frameworks
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques
- Good knowledge of database testing and data validation practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) is a plus but not mandatory
- Certification in test automation (e.g., Certified Selenium Tester) is a plus but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Engage in functional and technical discussions with clients and team members, leveraging knowledge of functional testing to grasp specifications and identify performance issues while preparing automated test scripts and maintaining the test case suite
- Develop and continuously improve automated tests in alignment with new system features and enhancements, formulating effective work plans and monitoring schedules to guarantee timely delivery according to defined quality standards
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks, develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, manage test data, and prepare status reports to proactively address risks and project escalations
- Mentor and guide QA engineers in using the testing framework, enhancing their technical skills to improve productivity and foster a collaborative work environment
