Requirements
Must:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
- Proficient in delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Team-oriented with the capacity to collaborate effectively
- Strong technical skills in desktop support
- Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Operating Systems
- Knowledgeable in VPN client software (Citrix) and Remote Desktop tools (Bomgar)
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions
- Itil Foundation Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Certification in Asset Management (preferred but not mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Deliver extensive technical support to on-site personnel, clients, and service partners
- Execute IMAC-related tasks as required, including hardware repairs and upgrades
- Reproduce and resolve customer incidents within the software and hardware environment
- Keep the incident management system updated with the latest ticket information
- Monitor tickets diligently to ensure proper escalation and resolution according to SLAs
- Adhere to Asset Management processes diligently
- Provide setup and support for conference room technologies
- Handle provisioning and deployment of internal VoIP phones
- Communicate effectively with various IT support teams for timely incident escalation and resolution
- Document customer interactions thoroughly in ticketing system for accuracy and completeness
- Engage proactively with the Deskside Management Team regarding asset management and Service Desk processes
- Share up-to-date technical insights and best practices for proprietary applications
- Execute duties in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to resolve reported issues effectively
- Assess reported challenges and coordinate with service providers for swift resolution
- Undertake special projects and customer support tasks as designated by management
- Be prepared to lift and transport desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment as needed
