Requirements
Must:
- Ability to work autonomously while clearly communicating within a cross-functional team
- 2–5 years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Solid grasp of responsive and mobile-first design methodologies using Flexbox and CSS Grid
- Experience in presenting data-rich formats such as charts, metrics, or dashboards clearly
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of UI quality
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain responsive, mobile-first web interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Convert UI/UX designs into well-structured, semantic code for clear presentation of complex physiological and training data
- Enhance interfaces for optimal performance and dependability, as timing is crucial during training
- Ensure accessibility and cross-browser functionality across various mobile and desktop platforms
- Collaborate with designers to build and uphold a cohesive UI component library
- Work alongside backend engineers to seamlessly integrate Garmin fitness data and physiology model results into dynamic, real-time displays
- Produce well-documented, reusable code and engage in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and rectify frontend issues across multiple browsers and devices
Description
We are seeking a proficient UI/Frontend Developer to join our team and contribute to creating beautiful, high-performing, and accessible web experiences. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the interface of a web-based mobile application designed for elite professional cyclists, assisting them in preparing for the worlds most challenging rides. Our application combines an advanced human physiology model with real-time Garmin fitness data to offer personalized, data-driven training insights. You will collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to convert complex performance data into intuitive, polished interfaces that provide athletes with a true competitive advantage. This is a 100% remote position with a competitive hourly rate and flexible hours.
