Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), and VBA.
- Strong proficiency in visualization platforms including Tableau and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and project management practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Experience working with Unix shell scripting (Bash) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze substantial datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to visualize key metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Design and optimize database structures in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms to support efficient data retrieval.
- Implement project management principles within Agile frameworks to ensure timely delivery of analytics initiatives.
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements in data quality.
- Support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
- Utilize VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automating data workflows and reporting tasks.
- Document processes and create visual representations of workflows using Visio for clarity and stakeholder communication.
