Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- 10 years of experience in technology solution design, with a minimum of 5 years in support of NIH.
- Profound knowledge of NIH programmatic and business operations technologies.
- Familiarity with NIHs legacy systems and its ongoing technological initiatives.
- Established relationships with NIH technology stakeholders and a reputation for dependable delivery.
- Ability to harness NIH connections to expand and enhance a business portfolio.
- Proven capacity to lead technical solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Outstanding communication and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical leader for our NIH-focused programs and initiatives.
- Lead technical solutions for NIH account pursuits, including responses to RFPs, solution architecture, and engagement with client stakeholders.
- Design and articulate comprehensive technology solutions that align with NIH goals, focusing on data integration and enterprise systems for business operations and biomedical research.
- Collaborate with NIH teams to comprehend data flows, integration points, and interoperability requirements of systems.
- Act as the primary technical liaison to NIH technology buyers, fostering trust and credibility through consistent delivery and thought leadership.
- Align proposed solutions with NIHs evolving technological strategy, including modernization of legacy systems and implementation of data integration platforms.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to create solution components, cost estimates, and implementation strategies.
- Present solutions to internal and external executive stakeholders, including NIH leadership.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with NIH stakeholders to refine requirements and validate solution strategies.
- Stay updated on NIH enterprise systems and utilize this insight to inform solution design.
- Establish delivery teams after award, ensuring continuity and a clear vision for project implementation.
