Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal or Department of Defense (DoD) Public Trust security clearance; candidates must complete the clearance approval process before joining Guidehouse.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of professional experience, including a minimum of three (3) years specifically in Appian development.
- Active Appian Senior Developer certifications and willingness to pursue additional relevant certifications upon hiring.
- Strong knowledge of the Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and web services.
- Comprehensive understanding of Appian development best practices.
- Skills in relational database architecture, management, and scripting.
- Ability to design and integrate business processes across disparate systems using best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Java and web technologies.
- Must be available to work Eastern Standard Hours.
Responsibilities
- As Senior Appian Developers, we design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Appian applications.
- We possess a deep understanding of Appian’s platform architecture and best practices, enabling us to translate complex business requirements into functional application components.
- We are adept at using Appian to streamline and enhance business processes while effectively communicating innovative and efficient solutions to stakeholders, fellow developers, and IT professionals.
- We work closely with clients to grasp their business requirements and propose tailored solutions using Appian.
- Our role includes designing and implementing intricate business processes within the Appian framework, as well as building, testing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and navigate ambiguous or unstructured challenges.
- It is our responsibility to apply best practices for Appian development and integration with other systems.
- We develop and maintain Appian plugins and interfaces, support the creation of technical documentation and user manuals, and partake in code reviews to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- We provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to thought leadership within our platform by ideating and designing new accelerators.
- We stay current with new Appian product capabilities resulting from releases and acquisitions and engage in the development of concepts and methodologies aimed at enhancing people, procedures, and technology solutions.
- We strive to foster an environment where individuals and technology collaborate to achieve more collectively.
Description
The annual salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $216,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, training, security clearances, certifications, and other organizational needs.
