Information Security Senior Consultant

In this role, I will rely on you to collaborate with senior members of the client organization to ensure that the overall program and project goals, strategy, and expectations are met. You will quickly familiarize yourself with our customers’ missions and their impact on managerial practices. As a senior-level assessor, you will support all Security Control Assessors (SCA) on the RMF Team by guiding them through their assessments and reviewing assessment reports before submission to the government. Your duties will also include managing security control assessments from kickoff to the submission of deliverables, final reporting, and executive briefings. You will conduct audits to verify that security controls are implemented accurately and functioning effectively. Furthermore, you will be tasked with monitoring and evaluating a system's compliance with security, resilience, and reliability requirements, verifying that security postures are executed as specified, documenting any deviations, and recommending corrective actions through the development of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). You will lead initiatives for continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our security assessment processes, while also identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and upgrades to our methodologies and tools. Lastly, mentoring junior Security Control Assessors will be an important part of your responsibilities.
