Must:
- To qualify for this role, you must be a U.S. citizen and able to acquire and maintain a Federal or Department of Defense Public Trust security clearance prior to starting with us. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. - A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience is essential, with at least three (3) years specifically in Appian development. - You must hold active Appian Associate Developer certifications and demonstrate the capability to achieve additional pertinent certifications upon hire. - Proficiency with the Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules, is expected. - Experience in Java, SQL, and web services is necessary. - A solid understanding of Appian development best practices is required. - You should have the ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate them across various systems. - The selected candidate must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time hours.

Responsibilities

- In the role of an Appian Journeyman Developer, I will be essential in designing, developing, and deploying Appian-based applications tailored to our business objectives and success. - You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and fellow developers to design and create these applications. - You’ll develop custom plugins, interfaces, and services using the Appian platform. - Configuration of Appian environments will be part of your duties, including user management, design, and integration with other systems. - I expect you to design and develop Appian interfaces using Appian SAIL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation linked to Appian development. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Appian applications will be a critical part of your role. - You will collaborate on proof-of-concept and other initiatives as new Appian products and technical capabilities are introduced.

- It would be advantageous if you possess strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation abilities. - Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and a high level of emotional intelligence will be beneficial. - Recent experience working on software development projects in a federal government environment or with Federal Acquisition Management will be viewed favorably. - Prior work as Customer Help Desk support or in production application support is also desirable. - Familiarity with or experience in implementing low-code platforms would be a plus. - Experience in an agile development environment and an understanding of responsible AI principles and model interpretability will also be considered an asset. - The annual salary range for this position spans from $113,000 to $188,000, with salary decisions based on several factors such as skills, experience, security clearances, and organizational needs. - At Guidehouse, we offer a comprehensive rewards package that includes competitive pay and flexible benefits.
