We are looking for individuals who possess proven experience in data analysis and exhibit strong analytical capabilities. You should be skilled in SQL for querying databases, and having familiarity with database design principles would be advantageous. Experience with analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is essential. Knowledge of programming languages including R, Python, and Bash (Unix shell) is also required. A solid understanding of project management methodologies within an Agile framework and familiarity with business analysis techniques for effective requirement gathering are important. Excellent communication skills are necessary for clearly conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are vital.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will collect, process, and analyze substantial datasets to uncover trends and patterns. You will create visualizations and dashboards utilizing tools like Tableau and Power BI to present your findings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting, you will define project requirements and deliverables. Conducting business analysis to comprehend stakeholder needs and translating them into technical specifications will be part of your tasks. Designing and maintaining databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems is also expected. You will utilize programming languages such as R, Python, and VBA for data manipulation and analysis. Your input will be valuable during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on data-related projects. Documenting processes using Visio and ensuring clear project management practices throughout the lifecycle of data initiatives will be part of your responsibilities. You will also perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by management to assist in strategic decision-making.
