Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical IT experience in supporting SMB environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Server (2003–2022), Exchange (2003–2019), and SQL (2005–2017).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD, Intune, and hybrid cloud implementations.
- Proficient in configuring LAN/WAN/NAT/VPN/DNS routing and Internet connectivity.
- Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, and Proxmox.
- Ability to use scripting (PowerShell, Batch, VB) for process automation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage, Automate (LabTech), and Nilear systems.
- Knowledgeable in SonicWall, Cisco, WatchGuard, Netgear, and Datto environments.
- Understanding of backup, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions (VIPRE, Webroot, SentinelOne).
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and project management abilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified (Azure or M365), Network+, Security+, VMware, or SonicWall.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead and execute client infrastructure and network projects with a maximum of 300 endpoints.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from conceptual design and scheduling to final completion.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges.
- Oversee the management and support of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, hybrid Exchange, and Microsoft Server environments (2003–2022).
- Configure LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS routing, firewalls, and advanced Internet connectivity.
- Implement and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox.
- Automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, VB) and remote monitoring and management tools.
- Configure and provide support for SonicWall, Cisco, and Netgear firewalls, as well as Datto and backup systems.
- Supervise Microsoft 365 migrations, Intune deployments, and endpoint management processes.
- Mentor network operations center technicians and collaborate on enhancing documentation quality and procedural standards.
