Miller - Core role with key technologies

- Serve as the most skilled operator at the facility, assisting with grain transfer, cleaning, milling, packaging, and loading processes. - Oversee attendance, training, and mentoring of team members. - Act as the shift supervisor, directing the mill crews activities during shifts. - Enhance daily milling efficiency by adjusting and operating cleaning and milling equipment. - Identify and resolve equipment issues, optimize the mill workflow, and troubleshoot problems. - Carry out additional duties such as contributing to plant teams, engaging in capital projects, and center-lining processes. - Manage responsibilities related to milling, cleaning, record keeping, maintenance, sanitation, planning, coordination, and communication. - Conduct sanitation tasks to ensure team adherence to critical cleanliness standards. - Perform maintenance tasks linked to milling efficiency, including equipment repairs and roll adjustments. - Utilize computers for mill operations, compile production reports, and manage maintenance issues. - Collaborate with department staff to communicate workflow and maintain production efficacy. - Advocate for employee safety, food safety, and product quality standards.
