Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or a comparable degree complemented by significant IT leadership experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in planning and overseeing IT systems.
- Proven experience in managing IT budgets and ensuring cost efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills with diverse teams throughout the organization.
- Masters degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Background in higher education or academic settings is a plus.
- Capability to lead and manage organizational transformations is desirable.
- Possession of industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Azure Administrator, CCNP, CNE, GIAC, CISSP) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide overarching strategic leadership by formulating and enacting a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the colleges mission and objectives.
- Supervise IT infrastructure, systems, and services to guarantee reliability, security, and scalability.
- Partner with administrative departments and the broader four-campus community to assess technological requirements and implement institution-wide solutions.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices while implementing strong security protocols to safeguard data and systems.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to identify technological needs and address them accordingly.
