Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience managing Microsoft 365 environments, including tenant setup and migrations
- In-depth knowledge of Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams administration
- Proficiency in Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, identity governance, and security best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint security management
- History of migrating from on-premises email systems (like Kerio or similar IMAP systems) and Active Directory to Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Egnyte, Jatheon, AWS, or similar)
- Competence in PowerShell for automation and scripting
- Strong problem-solving abilities to support both project and operational tasks
- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and end-users
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Design and configure our Microsoft 365 tenant, focusing on Entra ID identity setup, security policies, and workload optimization
- Lead the migration of our on-premises Active Directory to a cloud identity, ensuring user/group synchronization and comprehensive transition planning
- Execute email migration from Kerio mail server to Exchange Online using IMAP tools and organized batch processing
- Implement Microsoft Intune for endpoints, ensuring compliance, configuration profiles, and Autopilot where applicable
- Configure Entra ID features like Conditional Access, MFA, privileged identity management, and identity governance
- Collaborate with leadership to enforce Zero Trust principles, DLP, and threat protection measures
- Administer and enhance Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune, and other relevant workloads
- Monitor tenant health, security posture, licensing, and user adoption metrics via Microsoft 365 administration tools
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and operational standards to ensure long-term sustainability
- Assess and implement improvements for automation, security, and efficiency
- Manage Egnyte file storage governance, including permissions, lifecycle policies, and integration strategies
- Oversee Jatheon email archiving policies, ensuring compliance with retention settings
- Assist in managing AWS-based web application servers, focusing on access control, monitoring, and coordination with developers or vendors
- Support cloud cost management, vendor interactions, and lifecycle planning activities
- Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for Microsoft 365 and related identity/cloud issues
- Occasionally assist with help-desk operations and end-user troubleshooting
- Engage in IT infrastructure planning, hardware lifecycle management, and system enhancements
- Work with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into secure technical solutions
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and internal security evaluations
