Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking principles including DHCP, DNS, HTTP, ARP, and routing basics.
- Experience or coursework in C/C++, Java, or scripting languages (Perl, PHP, Shell) in Linux/Unix settings.
- Familiarity with both Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark or tcpdump is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of VoIP technologies and protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP/RTCP) is beneficial.
- Quick learner with problem-solving skills and capable of working independently.
- Preferred familiarity with AI concepts and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; experience working with international teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support development engineers in reproducing and assessing reported software issues.
- Conduct functional testing on provisional bug fixes and firmware releases using provided automation tools or through manual testing.
- Collaborate with senior testing and support engineers to develop and implement test plans.
- Perform product evaluations in lab or SOHO environments and compile test and bug reports.
- Contribute to the creation of product and testing documentation.
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Product Support & Test Engineer Intern to join our engineering and support teams for hands-on experience in product testing, troubleshooting, and technical assistance. This internship offers valuable exposure to networking and VoIP technologies as we validate products in a lab setting.
