Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Services
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field OR relevant degree with at least one Cisco CCIE certification (written and practical)
- Proficiency in Cisco specializations: Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Section Manager to assess, design, and validate architectural designs and services from the roadmap backlog
- Drive the transition of designs and services accepted by users to Operations and Security Teams
- Offer subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level wireless networks
- Strategically plan and architect the enhancement of NIH Network and TIC Services aligned with future state architecture goals
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain both software and hardware
- Partner with the Security Section to fulfill security architecture requirements
- Keep technical architecture documentation up to date
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently
- Manage changes within the architecture
- Support teams responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
