Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience)
- Must be capable of obtaining and retaining a Public Trust clearance
- CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and analysts on the network tools team
- Support the goals set by the Tools Team Lead
- Assist in reviewing threshold and performance monitoring to improve metric reporting for trend analysis and capacity planning
- Help with tool enhancement recommendations to boost CITs threat detection and response capabilities
- Optimize the existing suite of tools for managing NIH networks
- Provide detailed recommendations for augmenting and consolidating tools to enhance functionality and ROI
- Proactively test and implement vendor upgrades and patches, ensuring compliance with security protocols
- Contribute domain expertise to the System Accreditation and Authorization documentation
- Conduct peer reviews of deliverables produced by junior engineers and analysts
