Requirements

Must:
- A Bachelor’s Degree along with 12 years of experience handling large integrated projects. - Extensive experience in developing strategic systems architecture. - Proficiency in system design and development. - Knowledge in system and network design and development. - Ability to create requirement artifacts such as data flow diagrams and UML modeling techniques (including sequence, component, deployment, and domain models). - Background in software development with coding capabilities, as well as familiarity with APIs and SDKs. - Technical architecture expertise with a solid understanding of high-level networks, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and operating systems. - Strong experience with web servers, API gateways, cross-domain solutions, service-oriented architectures, web services (REST), microservice patterns, service buses, integration patterns, and security practices used in federal environments. - Proven experience with databases and data storage, including both NoSQL and SQL databases. - Familiarity with cross-domain solution architectures, data labeling, and secure data transfer protocols. - Experience working in secure environments, ideally within the DOJ, with a grasp of FISMA, NIST, or RMF compliance. - Familiarity with REST, Java, and ColdFusion. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading cross-functional teams. - An active Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability.

Responsibilities

- I provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, acting as a subject matter expert across various domains. - I shape and influence the organization’s strategic direction through visionary planning and collaboration with stakeholders. - I design, implement, and align solution architectures with Data and Enterprise Architecture standards, ensuring compliance and modernization. - I lead the development and documentation of formal solution methodologies, maintain architecture repositories, and promote best practices. - I conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend cost-effective, flexible solutions that spur innovation across cloud, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and enterprise platforms. - I collaborate closely with delivery teams, project managers, vendors, and government stakeholders to estimate, plan, and supervise solution implementation and integration. - I model business and system processes to provide technical artifacts such as system diagrams, detailed design documents, workflow diagrams, and project plans. - I offer ongoing technical guidance during solution implementation within Agile cross-functional teams, managing risks and communicating with senior leadership. - I review and advise on architectural designs from other architects to guarantee adherence to established standards. - I drive the modernization of legacy systems and align technology initiatives with mission objectives, fostering collaboration across development, product owners, and government teams.

Posted Salary Range: USD $210,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.
