Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Active Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+)
- Hands-on expertise in architecting and managing MECM environments in large enterprises
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server platforms (2012–2025) and core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS)
- Experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell for automation
- Skilled in creating comprehensive documentation for systems and processes
- Experience building and managing lab/test environments for validation and troubleshooting
- Expertise in managing patch cycles, update deployments, and compliance reporting
- Preferred: Experience in DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments
- Preferred: Microsoft certifications, such as Endpoint Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Preferred: Understanding of load balancing, network infrastructure concepts, and content distribution challenges
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain MECM environments for enterprise endpoint management
- Develop, test, and roll out software packages, updates, and patches via MECM
- Construct and uphold task sequences for automated operating system deployments and upgrades
- Build and manage test environments to validate configurations, updates, applications, and deployment processes
- Oversee patch management cycles, including scheduling, deployment, monitoring, reporting, and remediation
- Ensure endpoint compliance with organizational security policies and standards
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for MECM client health, software distribution, imaging, and compliance matters
- Create PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to enhance endpoint management tasks
- Maintain meticulous documentation for configurations, processes, and methodologies
- Generate and analyze reports on software deployments, compliance, and system health
