Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with over 10 years of experience in security systems analysis or equivalent experience
- Active Secret clearance with capability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability
- Proficiency in evaluating security policies and implementing remediation solutions
- Experience with vulnerability management and using scanning tools like Qualys
- Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with technical documentation and security compliance standards
- Capability to analyze and resolve complex security vulnerabilities
- Understanding of patch management processes and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Assess necessary actions to enforce customer security policies through development and execution of strategic plans
- Design and implement solutions such as patches, configurations, and GPO alterations to mitigate security risks
- Lead initiatives for patching and deploying remediations or updates
- Monitor and report on the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts
- Direct team activities to ensure alignment with customer security policies and timelines
- Utilize Qualys to scan for vulnerabilities, ensuring successful post-deployment validations
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify compliance baselines and execute remediation steps
- Work with System ISSOs to formulate Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and address audit findings
- Provide technical guidance for remediation plans addressing identified security events
- Ensure all systems are equipped with necessary security tools, collaborating with systems administrators for installations if absent
