- I hold a Bachelors degree with over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity (or equivalent experience).
- I have the capability to maintain a Secret level clearance.
- I am a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance (or higher).
- I possess at least 6 years of experience supporting cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or information assurance functions.
- I have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following technical areas:
- Virtualized or cloud-based systems (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar).
- Virtual desktop/workspace platforms (VDI, Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Software Factory / DevSecOps environments (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) including API management tools and data streaming.
- Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions (PIV/CAC, IdM, MFA, SSO, RBAC).
- WAN/LAN networks, SIPR and unclassified domains, firewalls, and other perimeter security systems.
- Continuous monitoring and endpoint management systems (Trellix, MECM, InTune, ACAS, SolarWinds).
- Data center and physical computer/storage systems.
- Physical end-user systems such as laptops, workstations, printers, multi-functional devices, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities
- I will support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, which includes categorization, control selection, assessment, and authorization.
- I am responsible for developing and maintaining critical documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- I will collaborate with infrastructure, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering teams to ensure security controls are effectively implemented in virtualized and containerized settings.
- I will evaluate and document compliance for FedRAMP DoD IL2/4/5/6 or other relevant cloud baselines as needed.
- I will take part in technical design reviews to ensure adherence to RMF, Zero Trust, and ICAM principles.
- I will support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of security controls within Microsoft Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, or DoD Cloud environments.
- I will analyze and mitigate vulnerabilities discovered through automated scans or assessments.
- I will work with product managers to proactively devise security compliance strategies and review ongoing security engineering tasks and projects.
- I will coordinate with ISSOs, system owners, and Authorizing Officials (AOs) to uphold Authority to Operate (ATO) status and ensure timely rectification of identified issues.
- I will facilitate approvals for network interconnections, such as the Boundary Cloud Access Point (BCAP) and DISA System/Network Approval Process (SNAP), by providing required documentation.
- I will support Product Teams in preparing for, responding to, and remediating findings from JFHQ-DoDIN Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORAs).
