Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Social Science with over 15 years of experience in the design, integration, and optimization of IT Service Management solutions (or equivalent experience)
- ITIL Foundations Certification v4
- ITIL Expert v3 or ITIL v4 Managing Professional
- Active Secret clearance along with the capability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability
- Proven experience as an ITSM Solutions Architect, IT Operations Manager, or in a comparable role
- Extensive knowledge of ITSM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ITIL)
- Strong comprehension of ITSM tools and technologies, particularly ServiceNow
- Proficient in system integration and automation utilizing APIs, scripting languages, or workflow engines
- Background in developing and executing ITIL processes
- Experience in defining business and IT services
- Visionary leader skilled in guiding the organization towards ongoing excellence
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to craft innovative solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal talents for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
- Project management experience with a proven ability to lead and complete projects within scope, budget, and deadlines
- Familiarity with IT security principles, compliance requirements, and data privacy legislation
- Technical support or engineering background is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements, analyze current ITSM processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and design future architectures that enhance service delivery reliability, efficiency, and consistency
- Assess and recommend ITSM frameworks, automation prospects, and tool integrations, including ServiceNow, ScienceLogic, SCCM, and Qualys, to establish a cohesive, modernized service management framework
- Create detailed architectural documentation, process models, configuration standards, and integration strategies aligning ITSM tools with operational demands
- Work alongside engineering teams to ensure successful solution implementation, validate functional and technical designs, align with enterprise architecture principles, and deliver expert troubleshooting for complex ITSM challenges
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Assist with audits and compliance evaluations
- Provide strategic advice to leadership on ITSM maturity and transformation roadmaps while acting as a senior advisor for continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor technical teams
- Direct configuration and workflow design
- Support change management initiatives to guarantee the successful adoption of ITSM enhancements
