Requirements

Must:
- Active Secret clearance with the capability to upgrade to TS/SCI - Over 9 years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer in production settings - Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell - Experience with GitOps tools including Argo CD or Flux - Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments emphasizing automation and security - Solid knowledge of Linux system administration, container platforms, and Kubernetes - Experience with monitoring and observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog - Understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, routing, and DNS - Proven ability in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools - Extensive experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP - Strong background in infrastructure as code and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible - Awareness of Juniper SSR or SD-WAN environments focusing on automation - Familiarity with security practices such as policy as code and secrets management - Relevant certifications in Terraform, Azure, AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes are advantageous

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the design, construction, and management of automated deployment processes and infrastructure workflows in cloud and hybrid settings - Create, implement, and sustain reusable infrastructure as code modules utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and analogous tools - Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for application and infrastructure delivery - Develop automated processes for provisioning, configuration management, and drift remediation for cloud services - Standardize patterns for infrastructure deployment, manage secrets, and oversee the promotion of environments across development cycles - Execute automated tests for infrastructure modifications, covering unit and integration checks - Integrate logging and monitoring into centralized platforms to enhance operational performance and incident detection - Collaborate with Cloud, Network, and Security teams to deliver resilient and secure platform solutions - Build self-service automation tools in languages like Python, Go, or Bash to streamline operational tasks - Support network service integrations, including work with SSR environments where relevant - Engage in operational support and incident analysis for continuous infrastructure improvement
