Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field with over 12 years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, including design and administration.
- Over 5 years of experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) for automating database operations.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, NSH, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Extensive experience in database patch management using TSSA, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling intricate technical challenges.
- Preferably experience in DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments, cloud services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database), and understanding of DevOps principles.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and execution of sophisticated database architectures integrated with BMC TSSA to bolster enterprise automation objectives.
- Oversee complex upgrades, migrations, and performance enhancement across diverse multi-platform environments.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for critical database and TSSA issues that affect availability and compliance.
- Create advanced automation frameworks utilizing TSSA, NSH, PowerShell, Python, and Bash to streamline database patching and compliance checks.
- Manage enterprise patch management protocols for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL with TSSA to adhere to DoD and USCG security standards.
- Implement database automation within TSSA workflows, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes to hasten modernization efforts.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align database architecture and automation solutions with strategic objectives and security mandates.
- Maintain thorough documentation related to database architecture, TSSA configurations, operational workflows, and automation standards.
