Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma with over 9 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Comprehensive understanding of both basic and advanced cybersecurity principles
- DoD 8140 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, CISM)
- Proven experience in the development, operation, and maintenance of security systems
- Extensive familiarity with operating systems and database security
- Proficient in networking technologies, network security, and monitoring solutions
- Knowledgeable about various security systems including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Strong grasp of security protocols and principles
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to address complex challenges
- (Preferred) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
- (Preferred) Skilled in secure network architectures, encryption standards, application security, and secure coding practices
- (Preferred) Understanding of identity and access management principles and advanced persistent threats
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard information and network infrastructures
- Design and optimize comprehensive cybersecurity architectures
- Identify and document system security requirements and propose solutions to management
- Configure, troubleshoot, and manage security infrastructure hardware and software
- Install systems that monitor networks for potential security breaches
- Supervise systems for unusual activity and establish preventative strategies
- Create, implement, and revise the companys information security strategy
- Educate team members on best practices related to information system security
