Requirements
Must:
- Clearance: TS/SCI
- High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge of complex IT systems, networks, and security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for identifying and resolving security issues swiftly
- Proficient communication skills to convey complex security concepts in an understandable manner to diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with STIGs, ACAS, HBSS/Trellix, vulnerability management, and secure configuration baselines
- DOD 8140 IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, CCISO) certification
- Adaptability to the rapidly changing cybersecurity landscape
- Strategic thinking regarding security architecture alignment with organizational goals
- Experience with DOD networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive security architecture that aligns with our business goals and compliance obligations
- Conduct extensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to uncover potential threats to our systems and data
- Prioritize identified risks and develop strategies for mitigation
- Create, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices
- Collaborate closely with IT teams, cybersecurity experts, and management to incorporate security measures into all software development lifecycle (SDLC) and operational processes
- Oversee or engage in security incident response planning, investigations, and reporting on breaches, along with suggesting corrective actions
