Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent expertise
- Active Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+)
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation (including implementation, upgrades, and administration)
- Proficiency in NSH, Python, Bash, Java, and PowerShell scripting for automation
- Extensive experience in server patch management for Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
- Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical leader for BMC TrueSight Server Automation architecture, governance, and enterprise automation strategy
- Establish and uphold enterprise-level standards for automation, compliance, and security across diverse environments
- Drive large-scale modernization efforts, including platform transformations and integration with cloud and DevOps ecosystems
- Provide Tier-3 escalation support and strategic direction for resolving complex technical challenges affecting critical systems
- Design advanced automation frameworks and implement best practices for scalability, resilience, and compliance
- Oversee enterprise patch management and compliance enforcement strategies to fulfill DoD and USCG requirements
- Shape the organizational automation roadmap, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture governance, operational standards, and automation frameworks
