Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with 6 to 9 years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Over 6 years of experience in developing and executing OPSEC strategies.
- Familiarity with USAF/DoD OPSEC principles and practices.
- Understanding of applicable USAF/DoD policies and regulations.
- Completion of courses like Air Force OPSEC Course, Defense OPSEC Planners Course, or Joint Information Planners Course (Phase II) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze threats and vulnerabilities to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information.
- Create and enforce OPSEC plans, assess security protocols, and ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Conduct regular evaluations of facilities, assets, and operations to verify the effectiveness of OPSEC measures.
- Train USAF personnel on OPSEC methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Collaborate with intrusion analysts to detect, document, and coordinate remediation efforts against cyber threats.
- Provide prompt and actionable intelligence to support cyber incident response teams.
- Utilize technical understanding of computer systems and networks alongside cyber threat data to evaluate client security posture.
- Perform intelligence analysis to review intrusion signatures, tactics, techniques, and procedures related to cyber attacks.
- Investigate hacker activities, techniques, and vulnerabilities, delivering detailed briefings and intelligence reports to leadership.
