Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5 - 8 years of IT engineering experience (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Section Manager and Team Lead to ensure network availability and uphold security and confidentiality
- Engage in communication, investigation, triage, monitoring, and resolution of security incidents, events, alerts, and concerns following established procedures in conjunction with NS Operations
- Participate in refining alert thresholds and contribute to ongoing enhancements of the Security Section to improve customer satisfaction
- Team up with Security Subject Matter Experts on best practices
- Support mid-level and junior network security engineers with tasks as required
- Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior network security engineers
