Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience implementing industry and DoD best practices in modern network solutions.
- More than 10 years of experience with Windows-based system/domain engineering and operations.
- At least 4 years of project management experience.
- Active DoD DCWF 8140 IAT II certification required.
- Ability to travel up to one week per month (25%).
- Strong understanding of advanced network architecture principles across various domains, including WAN, LAN, wireless, and cellular, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
- Familiarity with DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity compliance standards.
- Expertise in utilizing modern network solutions and applications such as ISE, QoS, SD-WAN, SD-Access, Cloud Networking, and system monitoring solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in addressing connectivity challenges, bandwidth issues, and risk mitigation in Wi-Fi and hardwired solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective consultation with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to provide concise executive-level reports and presentations based on data-driven insights.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based collaboration tools for project support.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in enhancing AETC/A6XP AWAKEN network operations and modernization projects.
- Design, integrate, and secure enterprise network architectures across WAN, LAN, wireless, and cloud environments.
- Lead initiatives to implement innovative technologies such as SD-WAN, SD-Access, and network automation while maintaining strong security measures through frameworks like RMF and DISA STIGs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with senior leadership, contractor teams, and mission stakeholders to provide high-performance network solutions.
- Manage multiple stakeholder expectations and requirements effectively.
- Conduct regular assessments and adjustments to ensure optimal network performance and compliance with DoD standards.
- Support travel associated with project requirements and engagements as necessary.
