Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- At least 8 years of experience in Network Services
- Proven expertise in ensuring optimal availability and quality of network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network services
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public Trust clearance
- CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred
- Familiarity with security protocols is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and quality for network routing, switching, IP security, and wide area network services
- Engage in daily stand-ups and apply Kanban methodology to manage incidents and challenges within defined SLAs
- Support senior engineers by taking on shift lead responsibilities, managing queues, and facilitating prompt resolution of escalated issues
- Contribute to proactive initiatives for network monitoring, analysis, maintenance, patching, and documentation
- Provide recommendations to management for ongoing improvements in communication, customer understanding, tools, technology, and equipment
