Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of system administration experience (or equivalent experience)
- Active Security+ certification is mandatory
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience completing tasks with minimal oversight
- At least 3 years of experience in identifying, evaluating, and resolving application-level production issues
- Minimum of 3 years supporting Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environments
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Linux OS in a production setting
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle SQL in a production environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level (minimum of 3 years)
- At least 1 year of experience using the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including third-shift responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the team and provide support for the Background Investigation System in both Production and Test environments
- Assist in validating developer deployments in Production and Test settings
- Help other Administrators with ServiceNow tickets assigned to our group
- Collaborate with other Administrators to monitor multiple applications and systems for accurate file processing
- Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures
- Work alongside other groups to help resolve issues
- Monitor multiple systems to ensure successful receipt and processing of files
- Keep track of the ticketing system (ServiceNow) for requests needing attention
- Communicate information and status updates regarding ongoing work across shifts
