Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 12 years of relevant experience (or equivalent). The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 10 years in enterprise IT architecture, specifically within federal or Department of Defense (DoD) environments. A strong grasp of DoD security protocols, including NIST, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) compliance, is essential. Hands-on involvement with both on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms (e.g., VMware, Azure, AWS) is necessary. Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities are critical, along with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic outcomes. A government Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will be responsible for architecting and designing scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. I will ensure that the technical solutions align with the strategic vision and operational priorities set by government leadership. Leading technical scoping sessions to assess and recommend suitable technologies and architectures will be part of my duties. I will ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and drive automation initiatives to boost operational efficiency and enhance system reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—such as engineering, cybersecurity, program management, and government stakeholders—will be key. I will stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in enterprise IT and federal cybersecurity mandates, reviewing test plans to ensure contractual objectives are met. Additionally, I will coordinate the planning, design, and installation of equipment while documenting design concepts to support solution development and stakeholder alignment.
