Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Ability to travel internationally with a valid passport
- Proficient in IT infrastructure and systems administration
- Knowledgeable in network administration
- Familiarity with both hybrid environments and enterprise IT solutions
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND)
- Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS Networks preferred
- Relevant certifications like ITIL, MCSE, VCP, or CCNP valued
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Dependable, adaptable, and responsive to mission requirements
- Capable of quickly mastering new technologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core IT systems for the organization
- Implement and uphold telecommunication and data infrastructure for optimal operations
- Coordinate the execution of IT policies and procedures
- Conduct daily monitoring, maintenance, and backups of systems to protect data
- Provide network troubleshooting and end-user support for hardware and software issues
- Enforce security, network usage, and disaster recovery policies
- Install and configure both physical and virtual servers across various operating systems
- Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Handle SAN storage management and disaster recovery implementation
- Run compliance audits, manage SSL certificates, and antivirus tools
- Offer first and second-level support to users, ensuring effective communication
- Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks and enhance infrastructure management
- Participate in IT projects such as server migrations and cloud integrations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT configurations and systems
