Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with over 9 years of relevant experience or equivalent background
- Active Secret clearance required
- Proven experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Manager (ISSM) within Air Force or Space Force systems
- Experience in providing support for system accreditation
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) specifically for Air Force or Space Force applications
- Proficient in using eMASS for system security processes
- IAM Level 3 certification is mandatory
- Preferred: Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC)
- Preferred: Obtained CISSP certification
Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and deploy cutting-edge secure operating systems, networks, and database solutions
- Conduct risk assessments and offer recommendations for application design improvements
- Involve in diverse computer security matters including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
- Implement encryption technologies and perform penetration and vulnerability assessments across various security technologies
- Draft and submit security reports to government agencies
- Execute a wide array of responsibilities concerning computer security, including network access and architectures
- Participate in the certification and accreditation processes and conduct technical vulnerability assessments for computer security
- Provide support for business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Engage in intrusion detection, prevention, and offer incident reporting and response assistance
- Monitor ongoing compliance with computer security requirements, maintaining current system security and risk mitigation plans
- Train clients in proper computer security practices and preventive measures
