Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field with 8 years of experience in cybersecurity (or equivalent experience)
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Strong understanding of security engineering and the ATO (Authorization to Operate) process
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and incident response protocols
- Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
- Experience with developing forms, templates, or documentation for program support
- Proven capability to generate formal responses subject to government review
Responsibilities
- Assist the government in evaluating the security requirements for both new and existing systems
- Conduct thorough reviews of systems, networks, or applications with diverse personnel
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to understand roles, missions, and requirements that inform the assessment process
- Establish and maintain a program to address security inquiries from DHS personnel globally
- Support application developers in secure development within cloud and on-premises environments
- Develop responses to security questions and maintain a repository of these responses on a classified network
- Conduct research to provide answers in collaboration with IT departments and other security team members
- Create new forms or templates as needed to enhance program functionality
