Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with a minimum of 9 years relevant experience (or equivalent background)
- Active Secret clearance required
- At least 5 years of experience as a security engineer focusing on both hardware and software
- Proficiency in administering Linux systems (specifically Red Hat/CentOS)
- Experience in configuring Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and conducting security scans
- Security+ Certification (or a comparable qualification) is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Design and execute information assurance and security engineering systems focusing on business continuity and operations security
- Analyze and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the lifecycle of the program
- Validate and define system security requirements
- Establish and implement system security frameworks
- Ensure security designs are integrated into hardware, software, data, and procedures
- Conduct security requirement verifications and facilitate system certification and accreditation tasks
- Collaborate with clients to transform security and business requirements into technical specifications
- Configure, validate, and test secure systems and security products to identify vulnerabilities
- Confirm that security features comply with DoD/IC policies and industry standards
- Manage installation, configuration, account maintenance, signature updates, patch management, and troubleshooting for security devices
- Provide security certification testing, vulnerability management, assessments, customer support, and guidance on security matters
