Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 9 years of relevant experience in IT systems assessment, security audits, or a similar role.
- Extensive experience (9+ years) in assessing IT systems and conducting security audits.
- Proficient in various IT domains, such as applications, infrastructure, data, and security, with demonstrated expertise in the Trellix Security Platform suite (TSP).
- Familiarity with Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) strategies.
- Strong knowledge of IT security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) along with risk management methodologies.
- Must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred: Masters degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: Industry certifications like CISA, CISSP, or vendor-specific certifications related to TSP (e.g., McAfee, DISA ESS courses, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA PEN+).
- Preferred: Experience working at a DoD Combatant Command or its components is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure, specializing in the Trellix Security Platform suite (TSP).
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, assessment methods, industry best practices, and TSP technologies.
- Lead assessments, interpret findings, and propose strategies to enhance the alignment of IT initiatives with business goals.
- Focus on improving performance, reducing risks, and ensuring effective implementation and use of TSP solutions.
- Perform in-depth evaluations of TSP implementations to assess their effectiveness in managing and maintaining the organizations physical infrastructure.
- Analyze TSP data and usage to discover opportunities for optimization, including process enhancements, automation, and integration with other IT systems.
- Review new and emerging TSP technologies, providing suggestions for adoption based on organizational requirements and industry developments. Ensure TSP operations are compliant with relevant regulations and security standards while identifying and addressing potential risks.
