Computer Systems Engineer Architect

- Gather and assess the capabilities of our products, including industry competitors - Develop quantifiable requirements based on customer feedback and system design, ensuring compliance through verification methods - Convert high-level product strategies into network and system specifications, collaborating with different engineering teams for detailed implementation requirements - Establish and coordinate standards and practices related to overall network and system development - Design network interfaces to ensure cohesive functionality - Evaluate performance using technical assessment criteria - Serve as a customer liaison and support business development activities to define and refine requirements - Develop and implement Quality of Service (QoS) for voice, video, and data networks - Utilize performance management tools to analyze and resolve performance issues - Create conceptual, logical, and physical network architecture documents and risk assessments - Provide operational support for WAN and LAN technologies - Plan network configurations that align with user environments - Analyze network topologies, traffic, and capacity needs - Engage with DOD customers to bridge information gaps and explain architectural and technical solutions - Assist in the procurement of necessary hardware and software - Create detailed logical designs for Gigabit Ethernet Switching/Routing, QoS, DMVPN, and multicast architecture - Perform engineering and architecture tasks in a Wide Area Network environment
