Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required along with at least 5 years of experience managing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience providing end-user support related to VDI.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily tasks to manage VDI in support of end-users.
- Create and implement application packages for VDI users.
- Build and distribute VDI images.
- Perform system updates and apply patches.
- Resolve complex issues and provide incident solutions for escalated support.
- Maintain and oversee computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, software, and configurations.
- Develop and execute network/system security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis for both short-term and long-term planning of in-house systems.
- Prepare and ensure proper documentation, including operational instructions, is available.
- Write or alter basic scripts to address performance issues and automate administrative tasks.
- Suggest changes to enhance system and network configurations, and identify hardware or software requirements linked to those changes.
