Systems Administrator - VMware

- High School diploma with 6 - 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - TS/SCI Clearance required - Current CompTIA Security+ CE certification - One of the following certifications: MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert) or LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Admin) - Proven experience as a system administrator in a mid to large Windows environment - Knowledge of Active Directory - Ability to conduct daily system health checks - Experience in software installation on Windows Servers - Proficiency in troubleshooting within a Windows environment - Capability to create standard operating procedures for system functions - General understanding of network tools such as Infoblox and Solarwinds - Strong background in Linux administration - Administrative experience in an ESXi environment, including patching and resource management of VMs - Familiarity with High-Availability, Dynamic Resource Scheduler, and vMotion - Experience managing Virtual Networking with Distributed Virtual Switches (DVS) - Ability to perform periodic backups of vSphere Infrastructure - Service Now knowledge preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven ability to coordinate with stakeholders and collaborate with team members - Administrative experience in a Nutanix AHV Environment preferred - General knowledge of backup technologies preferred - Understanding of government processes for infrastructure maintenance preferred - Experience with HYCU and Pure Storage preferred - Management experience with offline Linux-based repositories preferred
