Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent background.
- Over 6 years of practical experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
- Proficient in one or more enterprise monitoring or endpoint management tools such as Splunk, SCCM, Tanium, or AppDynamics.
- Strong grasp of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell) and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer Certification.
- Background in supporting IT infrastructures within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or similar federal entities.
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance standards, including NIST 800-53 and FISMA.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow and other enterprise-level IT tools including SolarWinds, Splunk, SCCM, and AppDynamics.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the ServiceNow platform, covering ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and custom application modules.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement automation and monitoring solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Conduct performance tuning, testing, and updates to ensure the security and efficiency of tools.
- Uphold compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, such as FISMA, NIST, and DHS directives.
- Document technical solutions, system configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
