Senior Security Systems Analyst

Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with over 10 years of experience in security systems analysis or equivalent experience
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain DEA suitability
Responsibilities
- Evaluate actions required to enforce customer security policies through the development of plans and implementation of solutions
- Review security policies, directives, and vulnerability information to strategize effective responses
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify solutions for remediating vulnerabilities across a large enterprise
- Lead efforts to patch systems and deploy remediation measures
- Monitor and report on the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts
- Oversee team initiatives to align remediations with customer security timelines and standards
- Utilize the Qualys vulnerability scanning tool to assess potential vulnerabilities and verify remediation success
- Assist technical teams in establishing compliance baselines and perform necessary remediation steps
- Work with System ISSOs to formulate Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and address audit findings
- Provide technical guidance for improvement plans addressing identified security events
- Ensure the deployment of security tools on all systems, collaborating with system administrators as needed
