Senior Network Architect - Service Provider WAN/QoS

- Collaborate with the Section Manager to assess, design, and test architecture concepts and services from the roadmap backlog - Facilitate the transition of user-approved designs and services to Operations and Security Teams - Offer subject matter expertise in Service Provider backbone systems - Deliver expertise in Enterprise-level LAN/WAN configurations - Provide knowledge in Enterprise-level Quality of Service (QoS) - Advise on Enterprise-level Traffic Engineering practices - Strategically plan, design, develop, and enhance the performance and capacity of the NIH Network and TIC Services in accordance with NIH future state architecture goals - Handle software and hardware installation, setup, upgrades, and maintenance - Collaborate with the Security Section to fulfill security architecture needs - Maintain and update technical architecture documentation - Identify and resolve technical issues - Implement change management processes - Assist resources with security implementation, monitoring, and vulnerability remediation - Engage in strategic planning for network architecture services
