Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications
- CCIE Certification: written and practical assessments
- Required specializations in Cisco Certifications: Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Section Manager to review, design, and evaluate architectural frameworks and services from the project backlog
- Oversee the migration of approved designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams
- Offer subject matter expertise in enterprise-level data centers
- Provide specialized knowledge in enterprise cloud solutions
- Strategically plan, architect, engineer, and enhance the capabilities, performance, and capacity of NIH Network and TIC Services in line with future architecture goals
- Conduct installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance of software and hardware
- Partner with the Security Section to fulfill security architecture requirements
- Update and maintain technical architecture documentation
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Manage change effectively
- Assist with security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
- Engage in strategic planning for network architecture services
