Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with over 12 years in software development
- Active Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain DEA suitability
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update application software using various programming languages including Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and C#.
- Implement various design patterns like MVC, web services, SOA, and microservices.
- Integrate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, utilize APIs, engage with data repositories, and oversee system interfaces.
- Manage existing legacy code and/or create new code utilizing container technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Create and run unit tests to ensure code fulfills functional requirements.
- Identify secure coding practices to enhance code security.
- Perform daily code checks.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges, vulnerabilities, and functional defects.
- Reduce technical debt by adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Systems Analysts to adapt or enhance software according to organizational business needs.
- Ensure all developed code complies with system security guidelines.
